Gold Loses Rs. 900 Per Tola In Last Two Days; Silver at Rs. 1,885
The fine gold market has seen a significant adjustment, with prices declining by Rs. 900 per tola.
According to the latest report by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), fine gold is currently priced at Rs. 144,100 per tola, down from its previous closing rate of Rs. 145,000 per tola.
Similarly, Tejabi gold has also witnessed a price drop, now at Rs. 143,400 per tola, marking a decrease of Rs. 900 from its closing price of Rs. 144,300 per tola the previous day.
On July 7, 2024, fine gold peaked at Rs. 145,400 per tola, illustrating the volatility in the precious metals market.
In addition, the price of silver has decreased by Rs. 5 per tola, with the current market rate standing at Rs. 1,885 per tola, down from Rs. 1,890 per tola.
Both domestic and international markets are witnessing this downward trend, with global gold prices at $2,364.10 per ounce and silver prices at $30.97 per ounce, indicating negative momentum in the silver market.
