Gold Once More Sets an All-Time High Record; Spikes Up by Rs. 2,600 In Last Three Days to Trade at Rs. 159,700
Gold prices continue to set new records in Nepal. On September 24, 2024, the gold market hit another milestone with significant price hikes.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of fine gold surged to Rs. 1,59,700 per tola, up from Rs. 1,59,200 per tola the previous day.
Tejabi gold also saw an increase, now priced at Rs. 1,59,000 per tola, a rise of Rs. 500 from the previous day's rate of Rs. 1,58,500 per tola.
This sharp rise follows the recent peak in fine gold prices on September 23, 2024, when they reached Rs. 1,59,200 per tola, highlighting the market's ongoing volatility.
Meanwhile, the price of silver has experienced a slight dip of Rs. 5 per tola, now trading at Rs. 1,915 per tola, down from Rs. 1,920 per tola the day before.
While domestic prices continue to rise, global factors remain influential, with gold trading at $2,632.20 per ounce internationally, and silver prices falling to $30.95 per ounce.
