Gold prices in Nepal continue to soar to new heights. On September 27, 2024, the market achieved another milestone with a notable price surge.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of fine gold rose to Rs. 1,61,200 per tola, an increase from Rs. 1,60,700 per tola the day before.
Tejabi gold also saw a price uptick, now valued at Rs. 1,60,500 per tola, reflecting a rise of Rs. 500 from the prior rate of Rs. 1,60,000 per tola.
This significant increase follows a recent peak in fine gold prices on September 26, 2024, when they hit Rs. 1,60,700 per tola, highlighting the market's ongoing volatility.
Meanwhile, silver prices have remained steady at Rs. 1,955 per tola.
While domestic prices are on the rise, international influences continue to play a crucial role, with gold trading at $2,670.40 per ounce globally, and silver prices holding steady at $31.84 per ounce.
