The price of gold has reached Rs. 160,000 per tola today, marking a rise of Rs. 1,900 compared to its trading price of Rs. 158,100 per tola on Tuesday. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Entrepreneurs Association, this increase is due to the surge in international market prices and a rise in domestic demand.

In addition, the price of silver has also increased by Rs. 20 per tola, with silver now trading at Rs. 1,895 per tola.

On the international front, the price of gold has risen by USD 9 per ounce, reaching USD 2,752.49 per ounce today. The combined effect of international price hikes and growing local demand has led to a significant increase in the price of both gold and silver in the local market.
