Gold Price Risen by Rs. 400 per Tola in Nepalese Market: Silver Down by Rs. 15

The price of the sought-after yellow metal has risen by Rs. 400 per tola today compared to its value the previous day.

As reported by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price for fine gold is now Rs. 1,37,600 per tola, marking a Rs. 400 increase from Friday's price of Rs. 1,37,200 per tola.

Likewise, Tejabi gold is currently priced at Rs. 1,36,950 per tola, up by Rs. 400 from Friday's price of Rs. 1,36,550 per tola.

The highest price was recorded on April 19th, 2024, when fine gold reached an all-time high of Rs. 1,39,300 per tola.

On the other hand, the price of silver has seen a decrease of Rs. 15 per tola, with the current market price at Rs. 1,660 per tola, down from Friday's rate of Rs. 1,675 per tola.

As domestic market prices continue to trend upwards, the international scene remains a key driver. The latest international data shows the current rate for gold at $2,337.40 per ounce, while the global price of silver has dropped to $27.17 per ounce.
