Gold Prices Decline in Nepal Following International Market Trends

The price of gold in the Nepali market has dropped significantly following a decline in the international market. Compared to last Friday, the price of gold per tola has decreased by Rs. 2,700, while silver has declined by Rs. 15.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, gold was traded at Rs. 170,200 per tola last Friday. However, as of today, the price has been revised to Rs. 167,500 per tola. Similarly, the price of silver has dropped to Rs. 1,955 per tola after a decline of Rs. 15.
The decline in local prices aligns with the international market trend, where gold is currently being traded at USD 2,882 per ounce.
