Gold Prices in Nepal Hit Record High, Silver Follows Upward Trend

The price of gold in Nepal continues to climb, setting a new all-time high in the domestic market.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold rose sharply by Rs. 1,000 on Wednesday alone, reaching an unprecedented Rs. 186,000 per tola.
This marks a significant jump from the previous day’s rate of Rs. 185,000 per tola and breaks the earlier record set on April 11, 2025.
Tejabi gold, which remains popular among consumers, also experienced a notable gain, increasing to Rs. 185,300 per tola from the previous Rs. 184,300.
The price rise isn’t limited to gold alone. Silver has also witnessed a strong uptick, climbing by Rs. 55 per tola. It is now priced at Rs. 1,960 per tola, up from Rs. 1,905.
