Gold Prices in Nepal Reach Record Heights, Surpassing Rs. 185,000 per Tola

The price of gold in Nepal has maintained its upward trajectory, achieving a new all-time high in the domestic market.

As reported by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold surged by Rs. 3,900 in a single day on Wednesday, reaching an unprecedented Rs. 185,000 per tola.

This represents a significant increase from the previous day’s price of Rs. 181,100 per tola and surpasses the earlier record of Rs. 181,100 per tola set on April 3, 2025.

Tejabi gold, a favorite among buyers, also saw a notable rise, climbing to Rs. 184,300 per tola from Rs. 180,400 per tola the day before.

The price hike is not limited to gold. Silver has also seen a significant increase, rising by Rs. 5 per tola. Silver is now priced at Rs. 1,905 per tola, up from Rs. 1,900 per tola.
