Gold Prices Reach Record High On a Single Day After Gaining Rs.3000 Per Tola to Trade at Rs. 1,56,300 Per Tola
The gold market in Nepal surged to a new high on September 13, 2024, with substantial price increases.
As per the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of fine gold has now reached Rs. 1,56,300 per tola, reflecting an increase from Rs. 1,53,300 per tola the previous day.
Tejabi gold has similarly risen, now priced at Rs. 1,55,600 per tola, marking a Rs. 3,000 increase from yesterday’s Rs. 1,52,600 per tola.
This sharp rise follows a previous peak in fine gold prices, which hit Rs. 1,53,400 per tola on September 11, 2024, underscoring the market’s volatility.
Silver has also seen an upward trend, with prices rising by Rs. 65 per tola to Rs. 1,860, compared to Rs. 1,795 per tola yesterday.
While domestic prices continue to climb, global economic conditions remain a key influence. Internationally, gold is trading at $2,569.10 per ounce, with silver at $29.95 per ounce.
