Gold Prices Rise After Two-Day Decline
Gold prices in Nepal witnessed an increase today, following a steep decline of Rs. 18,500 per tola over the past two days. The price of fine gold climbed by Rs. 900 per tola, reaching Rs. 149,600 per tola, up from yesterday's rate of Rs. 148,700 per tola.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), Tejabi gold also experienced an increase, now priced at Rs. 148,900 per tola, compared to Rs. 148,000 per tola yesterday.
This upward adjustment comes after gold hit its record high of Rs. 171,000 per tola on October 31, 2024.
Silver followed a similar trajectory, with its price rising by Rs. 10 per tola. It is now valued at Rs. 1,830 per tola, up from Rs. 1,820 per tola a day earlier.
