Gold Prices Set New Record, Reaching Rs. 161,300 per Tola with Rs. 400 Single-Day Gain

The price of gold has surged to an all-time high in the Nepalese market, driven by a Rs. 400 single-day gain.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is being traded at Rs. 161,300 per tola today, surpassing yesterday's rate of Rs. 160,900 per tola. Tejabi gold also increased, reaching Rs. 160,600 per tola from the previous day's Rs. 160,200 per tola.

This marks a new milestone for gold prices, following the last record set on 27th September 2024, when fine gold traded at Rs. 161,200 per tola and tejabi gold at Rs. 160,500 per tola.

In addition to gold, silver prices have also risen. The white metal gained Rs. 30 per tola, now trading at Rs. 1,980 per tola compared to yesterday's Rs. 1,950 per tola.
