Gold Prices Set New Record, Reaching Rs. 161,800 per Tola with Rs. 1,300 Single-Day Gain

The price of gold has surged to an all-time high in the Nepalese market, driven by a Rs. 1,300 single-day gain.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is being traded at Rs. 1,61,800 per tola today, surpassing yesterday's rate of Rs. 1,60,500 per tola. Tejabi gold also increased, reaching Rs. 1,61,100 per tola from the previous day's Rs. 1,59,800 per tola.

This marks a new milestone for gold prices, following the last record set on October 4, 2024, when fine gold reached a record high of Rs. 1,61,300 per tola.

In addition to gold, silver prices have also risen. The white metal gained Rs. 25 per tola, now trading at Rs. 1,950 per tola compared to yesterday's Rs. 1,925 per tola.
