Gold Prices Slide Rs. 400 After Reaching Historic High
The price of fine gold has experienced a decrease of Rs. 400 per tola.
As per the latest report from the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the current trading price for pure gold is Rs. 1,31,200 per tola, reflecting a decline of Rs. 400 compared to the previous closing rate of Rs. 1,31,600 per tola recorded yesterday.
Similarly, Tejabi gold is currently valued at Rs. 1,30,550 per tola, indicating a decrease of Rs. 400 from yesterday's closing price of Rs. 1,30,950 per tola.
Yesterday, on April 1st, 2024, fine gold reached an all-time high of Rs. 1,31,600 per tola, marking a historic milestone.
In contrast, the price of silver has risen. Presently priced at Rs. 1,545 per tola, silver has seen a Rs. 10 increase from the previous day's rate of Rs. 1,535 per tola.
While the domestic market is witnessing a downward trend in prices, the international market also shows significant declines. According to the latest update, the current gold rate is $2,254.90 per ounce globally. Internationally, silver is experiencing positive momentum, with prices reaching $25.33 per ounce.
