Gold Prices Soar to Historic Highs in Nepal
Gold prices in the Nepalese market have surged back-to-back, hitting a historic high with a significant one-day increase of Rs. 800.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is now trading at Rs. 1,66,700 per tola, surpassing yesterday's rate of Rs. 1,65,900 per tola.
Tejabi gold also saw a rise, climbing to Rs. 1,66,000 per tola from the previous day's Rs. 1,65,200 per tola.
This increase represents a notable milestone, following the record set on October 22, 2024, when fine gold reached Rs. 1,65,900 per tola.
Additionally, silver prices have increased by Rs. 35 per tola, now standing at Rs. 2,135 per tola, compared to Rs. 2,100 per tola the previous day.
