Gold Prices Soar to Historic Highs in Nepal

Gold prices in the Nepalese market have reached an unprecedented peak, rising by Rs. 4,000 in one day.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of fine gold has climbed to Rs. 174,500 per tola, eclipsing the previous day's rate of Rs. 170,500 per tola.

Tejabi gold also saw a notable increase. It is now valued at Rs. 173,800 per tola, up from Rs. 1,69,800 per tola the previous day.

This surge represents a significant milestone, following the record set on February 20, 2025, when fine gold reached Rs. 1,71,000 per tola.

Furthermore, silver prices have risen by Rs. 50 per tola, now standing at Rs. 2,050 per tola, compared to Rs. 2,000 per tola the previous day.
