Gold Prices Soar to Historic Levels, Breaking Previous Records

Gold prices in Nepal have once again surged to an all-time high, witnessing an unprecedented rise of Rs. 1,100 in a single day.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of fine gold has soared to Rs. 1,77,900 per tola, surpassing the previous day’s rate of Rs. 1,76,800 per tola. This sharp increase of Rs. 1,100 marks a significant jump within a short span.

Similarly, Tejabi gold, a popular variant, experienced a notable rise, reaching Rs. 1,77,200 per tola, up from Rs. 1,76,100 per tola the previous day.

The rise in fine gold prices has set a new record in Nepal’s gold market, surpassing the previous all-time high of Rs. 1,76,800 per tola recorded on March 30, 2025.

Additionally, silver prices have climbed by Rs. 10 per tola, now standing at Rs. 2,035 per tola, compared to Rs. 2,025 per tola the previous day.
