Gold Prices Soar to Historic Levels, Breaking Previous Records

Gold prices in Nepal continue their upward momentum, setting fresh records. Today, the price surged by Rs. 1,200 in a single day, reaching an unprecedented high.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is now priced at Rs. 180,300 per tola, surpassing the previous day's rate of Rs. 179,100 per tola. This sharp surge marks a substantial increase within a short period.

Likewise, Tejabi gold, a widely preferred variant, climbed to Rs. 179,600 per tola, up from Rs. 178,400 per tola the previous day.

The relentless rise in gold prices has set a new benchmark in Nepal’s gold market, exceeding the previous all-time high of Rs. 179,700 per tola recorded on April 1, 2025.

Meanwhile, silver prices have declined by Rs. 25 per tola, now standing at Rs. 1,995 per tola, down from the previous day's rate of Rs. 2,020 per tola.
