Gold Prices Soar to New Heights: Silver Follows Suit with Strong Momentum
Day by day, the gold market in Nepal has witnessed an unprecedented surge, hitting a new all-time high on April 3, 2024.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Traders' Association, there was a remarkable single-day increase of Rs. 1,800, propelling the price of fine gold to an exceptional rate of Rs. 1,33,000 per tola, up from its previous rate of Rs. 1,31,200.
Likewise, Tejabi gold, another highly coveted variant, has experienced a significant rise, now valued at Rs. 1,32,350 per tola, marking a consecutive increase of Rs. 1,800 from its previous rate of Rs. 1,30,550.
On April 1st, 2024, fine gold reached an all-time high of Rs. 1,31,600 per tola, achieving a historic milestone.
In line with this trend, the price of silver has also surged and set new record. Currently priced at Rs. 1,610 per tola, silver witnessed a Rs. 65 increase from the previous day's rate of Rs. 1,535 per tola.
While the domestic market is witnessing an upward trend in prices, the international market is equally impactful. As per the latest update, the current gold rate stands at $2,282.90 per ounce. Internationally, silver is also experiencing positive momentum, with prices reaching $26.31 per ounce.
