Gold Prices Surge by Rs. 1,000 per Tola, Silver Follows Suit with 35 Rupees Gain
The price of gold, a highly sought-after asset, has risen by Rs. 1,000 per tola today, reaching Rs. 1,52,400 per tola. This increase marks a significant jump from the previous day’s rate of Rs. 1,51,400 per tola.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), Tejabi gold prices have also climbed to Rs. 1,51,700 per tola, up from Rs. 1,50,700 per tola the day before.
On August 21, 2024, fine gold prices peaked at Rs. 1,53,000 per tola, highlighting the volatility within the gold market.
Silver prices have also experienced an uptick, rising by Rs. 35 per tola to Rs. 1,850 per tola, compared to Rs. 1,815 per tola previously.
While domestic market trends are showing an upward trajectory, global economic factors are still playing a significant role. Currently, the international gold price is $2,512.10 per ounce, with silver priced at $29.78 per ounce.
