Gold Prices Surge by Rs. 1,100: Silver Follows Suit With Rs. 15 Increase

The price of the highly coveted yellow metal has increased by Rs. 1,100 per tola today compared to the previous day's rates.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the current price for fine gold is Rs. 1,47,400 per tola, marking a notable rise from the previous day's Rs. 1,46,300 per tola.

Similarly, Tejabi gold prices have surged to Rs. 1,46,700 per tola, reflecting an increase of Rs. 1,100 from the previous day's price of Rs. 1,45,600 per tola.

On July 17, 2024, fine gold peaked at Rs. 149,800 per tola, illustrating the volatility in the precious metals market.

Meanwhile, the cost of silver has also seen an uptick of Rs. 15 per tola, with the new price now set at Rs. 1,805 per tola, up from the previous day's Rs. 1,790 per tola.
