Gold Prices Surge by Rs. 600: Silver Follows Suit With Rs. 35 Increase
The price of the highly coveted yellow metal has increased by Rs. 600 per tola today compared to the previous day's rates.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the current price for fine gold is Rs. 1,42,800 per tola, marking a notable rise from the previous day's Rs. 1,42,200 per tola.
Similarly, Tejabi gold prices have surged to Rs. 1,42,100 per tola, reflecting an increase of Rs. 600 from the previous day's price of Rs. 1,41,500 per tola.
On June 7, 2024, the peak price for fine gold reached Rs. 1,45,000 per tola, highlighting the volatility in the precious metals market.
Meanwhile, the cost of silver has also seen an uptick of Rs. 35 per tola, with the new price now set at Rs. 1,840 per tola, up from the previous day's Rs. 1,805 per tola.
While domestic markets continue their upward trend, global economic factors continue to exert influence. Currently, the latest international gold rate stands at $2,341.80 per ounce, with silver priced at $30.35 per ounce in the global market.
