Gold Prices Takes Dip: Drops by Rs. 1,000 Per Tola; Silver Follows Suit With Rs. 15 Fall
The price of fine gold has decreased by Rs. 1,000 per tola.
As per the latest update from the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of fine gold has dipped by Rs. 1,000 per tola. Fine gold is currently trading at Rs. 1,41,000 per tola, down from its previous rate of Rs. 1,42,000 per tola.
Similarly, Tejabi gold now stands at Rs. 1,40,300 per tola, reflecting a decrease of Rs. 1,000 from its earlier rate of Rs. 1,41,300 per tola.
The highest recorded price for fine gold was on May 31, 2024, at Rs. 1,42,200 per tola.
Conversely, the price of silver has experienced a slight decline of Rs. 15 per tola, with the current market rate at Rs. 1,835 per tola, down from the previous day's rate of Rs. 1,850 per tola.
Both domestic and international markets have witnessed these price adjustments, with the global gold rate now at $2,316.60 per ounce and silver at $29.85 per ounce.
