Gold Prices Takes Dip: Drops by Rs. 1,300 Per Tola; Silver Follows Suit With Rs. 35 Fall
The value of fine gold has undergone a decrease of Rs. 1,300 per tola.
According to the latest report released by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the present trading price for pure gold stands at Rs. 1,32,700 per tola, indicating a drop of Rs. 1,300 compared to yesterday's closing rate of Rs. 1,34,000 per tola.
Likewise, Tejabi gold is presently priced at Rs. 1,32,050 per tola, reflecting a decrease of Rs. 1,300 from its closing price of Rs. 1,33,350 per tola yesterday.
Yesterday, April 4th, 2024, marked a historic milestone as fine gold reached an all-time high of Rs. 1,34,000 per tola.
Moreover, the price of silver has experienced a decline of Rs. 35 per tola, with the current market rate standing at Rs. 1,615 per tola, in contrast to yesterday's closing rate of Rs. 1,650 per tola.
As the domestic market witnessed a downward trend in prices, the international market also showed significant declines. The latest update indicates the current global gold rate at $2,277.70 per ounce. Conversely, silver demonstrates negative momentum on the international front, with prices reaching $26.58 per ounce.
