Gold Prices Takes Dip: Drops by Rs. 1,800 Per Tola; Silver Follows Suit With Rs. 10 Fall
The price of fine gold has decreased by Rs. 1,800 per tola.
According to the latest report from the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), fine gold is now trading at Rs. 1,36,900 per tola, down from its previous rate of Rs. 1,38,700 per tola.
Similarly, Tejabi gold is now priced at Rs. 136,250 per tola, reflecting a Rs. 1,800 drop from its previous rate of Rs. 1,38,050 per tola.
The highest price for fine gold was recorded on May 20, 2024, when it reached Rs. 141,800 per tola.
Additionally, the price of silver has fallen by Rs. 10 per tola, currently trading at Rs. 1,855 per tola compared to yesterday's rate of Rs. 1,865 per tola.
Both domestic and international markets have seen price declines. The global gold rate is now $2,334.20 per ounce, while silver has also decreased internationally, priced at $30.35 per ounce.
