Gold Slips Rs. 100 From All Time High to Trade at Rs 153,300 Per Tola Today; Silver Up By Rs. 15
The fine gold market has experienced a modest shift, with prices dropping by Rs. 100 per tola.
According to the latest update from the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of fine gold now stands at Rs. 153,300 per tola, down from its previous rate of Rs. 153,400 per tola.
Similarly, Tejabi gold has also seen a reduction, currently priced at Rs. 152,600 per tola, marking a Rs. 100 decrease from the prior day's rate of Rs. 152,700 per tola.
This decline comes after the recent peak on September 11, 2024, when fine gold reached its highest-ever rate of Rs. 153,400 per tola.
In contrast, silver prices have inched up by Rs. 15 per tola, now standing at Rs. 1,795 per tola, compared to Rs. 1,780 per tola the previous day.
Both domestic and international markets reflect this downward trend in gold prices. Globally, gold is priced at $2,518.10 per ounce, while silver continues its rise, reaching $28.75 per ounce.
