Gold Slips Rs. 1,100 From All Time High to Trade at Rs 151,900 Per Tola Today; Silver Down By Rs. 5
The fine gold market has seen a significant change, with prices falling by Rs. 1,100 per tola.
According to the latest report from the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), fine gold is now priced at Rs. 151,900 per tola, marking a Rs. 1,100 decrease from its previous closing rate of Rs. 153,000 per tola.
Tejabi gold has also experienced a price drop, now valued at Rs. 151,200 per tola, down by Rs. 1,100 from the prior day's closing price of Rs. 152,300 per tola.
This decline follows the recent peak on August 21, 2024, when fine gold hit an all-time high of Rs. 153,000 per tola.
In addition, silver prices have decreased by Rs. 5 per tola, with the current market rate standing at Rs. 1,830 per tola, compared to the previous day's closing rate of Rs. 1,835 per tola.
This downward trend in prices is reflected both domestically and internationally. Globally, the latest update shows gold priced at $2,501.40 per ounce, while silver prices continue to fall, now at $29.38 per ounce.
