Gold Slips Rs. 1,200 From All Time High to Trade at Rs 152,100 Per Tola Today; Silver Down By Rs. 45
The fine gold market has witnessed a notable shift, with prices dropping by Rs. 1,200 per tola.
As per the latest report from the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), fine gold is now priced at Rs. 152,100 per tola, down from its previous close of Rs. 153,300 per tola.
Similarly, Tejabi gold has seen a price reduction, currently valued at Rs. 151,400 per tola, a Rs. 1,200 drop from the previous day’s rate of Rs. 152,600 per tola.
This decline follows the recent peak on September 6, 2024, when fine gold reached an all-time high of Rs. 153,300 per tola.
Additionally, silver prices have fallen by Rs. 45 per tola, with the current rate standing at Rs. 1,750 per tola, compared to the prior closing of Rs. 1,795 per tola.
This downward trend is evident both domestically and globally, with gold now priced at $2,497.20 per ounce internationally, and silver continuing to drop, standing at $27.93 per ounce.
