Gold Slips Rs. 300 From All Time High to Trade at Rs 161,000 Per Tola Today; Silver Up By Rs. 5
The fine gold market has experienced a minor adjustment, with prices decreasing by Rs. 300 per tola.
According to the latest update from the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), fine gold is currently priced at Rs. 1,61,000 per tola, down from the previous rate of Rs. 1,61,300 per tola.
Tejabi gold has also seen a reduction, now valued at Rs. 1,60,300 per tola, reflecting a Rs. 300 drop from the previous day's rate of Rs. 1,60,600 per tola.
This price decline follows a recent peak on October 4, 2024, when fine gold reached a record high of Rs. 1,61,300 per tola.
In contrast, silver prices have edged up by Rs. 5 per tola, now standing at Rs. 1,985 per tola, compared to Rs. 1,990 per tola the day before.
Both domestic and international markets mirror this downward trend in gold prices. Globally, gold is priced at $2,653.30 per ounce, while silver continues its ascent, reaching $32.16 per ounce.
