Gold Slips Rs. 400 From All Time High to Trade at Rs 145,000 Per Tola Today; Silver Remains Constant
The fine gold market has seen a significant adjustment, with prices declining by Rs. 400 per tola.
According to the latest report by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), fine gold is currently priced at Rs. 145,000 per tola, down from its previous closing rate of Rs. 145,400 per tola.
Similarly, Tejabi gold has also witnessed a price drop, now at Rs. 144,300 per tola, marking a decrease of Rs. 400 from its closing price of Rs. 144,700 per tola the previous day.
On July 7, 2024, fine gold peaked at Rs. 145,400 per tola, illustrating the volatility in the precious metals market.
In contrast, the price of silver remains stable at Rs. 1,890 per tola.
Both domestic and international markets reflect this downward price trend. Globally, gold is currently priced at $2,380.50 per ounce, while silver holds steady at $30.83 per ounce.
