Gold Slips Rs. 600 From All Time High to Trade at Rs 160,600 Per Tola Today; Silver Down By Rs. 10
The fine gold market has seen a slight adjustment, with prices falling by Rs. 600 per tola.
As per the latest update from the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), fine gold is now priced at Rs. 1,60,600 per tola, down from its previous rate of Rs. 1,61,200 per tola.
Tejabi gold has also witnessed a decline, currently valued at Rs. 1,59,900 per tola, reflecting a Rs. 600 drop from the prior day's rate of Rs. 1,60,500 per tola.
This price dip follows the recent peak on September 27, 2024, when fine gold hit a record high of Rs. 1,61,200 per tola.
Additionally, silver prices have dropped by Rs. 10 per tola, with the current market rate at Rs. 1,945 per tola, compared to the previous day's rate of Rs. 1,955 per tola.
The downward trend in prices mirrors global markets, where gold is currently priced at $2,657.90 per ounce, and silver continues to decline, now at $31.62 per ounce.
