Gold Slips Rs. 700 From All Time High to Trade at Rs 166,000 Per Tola Today; Silver Down By Rs. 40

The fine gold market has undergone a slight correction, with prices falling by Rs. 700 per tola.

According to the latest update from the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the current price of fine gold is Rs. 1,66,000 per tola, a decrease from the previous rate of Rs. 1,66,700 per tola.

Tejabi gold has also experienced a price reduction, now listed at Rs. 1,65,300 per tola, which reflects a decline of Rs. 700 from the previous day's price of Rs. 1,66,000 per tola.

This price drop follows a recent peak on October 23, 2024, when fine gold reached an all-time high of Rs. 1,66,700 per tola.

In contrast, silver prices have decreased by Rs. 40 per tola, now valued at Rs. 2,095 per tola, down from Rs. 2,135 per tola the day before.

Both domestic and international markets are reflecting this downward trend in gold prices. Globally, gold is currently priced at $2,727.20 per ounce, while silver continues to rise, reaching $33.88 per ounce.
