Government Allocates Rs 5.46 Arba in Budget for Tourism Promotion in FY 2081/82
The government has allocated Rs 5.46 Arba for the promotion of tourism, said Finance Minister Barsha Man Pun while presenting the budget for the fiscal year 2081/82 in parliament.
In the next fiscal year, the government has targeted the arrival of 16 lakh international tourists. Promotional activities will be organized in foreign countries including India. The government said it would promote religious tourism.
Eco-hills will be established in the Chure and Himalayan mountain regions. The Great Himalayan Trail and Mundhum Trail will be facilitated for trekking routes.
