Government failed to deliver in one year, NC claims; critisizes the goverment on other issues as well

The opposition Nepali Congress (NC) has criticized that the government for its failure to carry out activities in order to give a real sense of development and prosperity to the people despite its two-thirds majority.
The NC said so while releasing its view regarding one year of the formation of the incumbent government. At a news conference organised at the NC Central Office, Sanepa, NC Spokesperson Bishwo Prakash Sharma blamed the government of failing to maintain peace, security and faith as per people's expectation in the country.
Saying the government has not forwarded constitution amendment process to address the demands of Madhes during its one year, Spokesperson Sharma said that the ruling party has violated the agreements signed with Dr Govinda KC at the initiatives of the Prime Minister.
The NC further said that the government has also become failure to find out accused of Nirmala Panta case. Panta, 13, of Kanchanpur was raped and murdered around seven months ago, and take action against them.
Giving the responsibility to foreign construction company to construct Budhi Gandaki hydropower project was betrayal at time when fund was being collected to construct it by the national itself, added Sharma.
He said although the then NC-led government had prepared draft for the Social Security Scheme based on contribution, the incumbent government tried to be famous after making its publicity.
Likewise, opposition Nepali Congress has accused the government of breaching constitution in the constitutional council by holding its meeting in absence of the opposition leaders.
Furthermore, the NC spokesperson Sharma argued that the government and the Speaker passed the Medical Education Bill from the House of Representative by trampling the consciences at the helm of the majority in the House.
Opposition NC has assessed the one year period of the government for lacking efficient governance capacity despite possessing the most comfortable political environment in the history.
Similarly, NC has commented as the diplomatic immaturity of the ruling party in regard to Venezuela case.
