Green Development Bank to provide subsidized loan to skilled manpower from Rupa Gaupalika in Kaski; furthers bank’s commitment towards betterment of agro sector of the nation

Green Development Bank has signed an MOU with Rupa Gaupalika of Kaski to extend subsidized loans in the agriculture sector to various farmers’ groups, entrepreneurs, firms/companies as well as Cooperatives under the recommendation and facilitation of the Palika itself. 

The agreement was signed by Mr. Umesh Kumar Acharya, CEO on behalf of the Bank whereas the CaO of Gaupalika Mr.Santosh Dhungana. Following the agreement, women borrowers will get a 6% reduction while male borrowers will receive a 5% reduction in the subsidized interest.

The bank currently has 13 branches in 3 different districts of Gandaki province.
