Guheswori Merchant Banking and Finance convenes its 21st AGM; endorses proposal of 6.5% bonus shares and elects new board members

Guheswori Merchant Banking and Finance has convened its 21^st AGM for the FY 2078-79 under the leadership of its chairman Mr. Shreeman Shrestha on Magh 27, 2079.

The AGM has endorsed the board’s proposal to provide 6.5% bonus shares and 0.34% cash dividends to the shareholders, as per the media statement. After the bonus shares' capitalisation, the company's paid-up capital will scale up to Rs 1.01 arba.

The AGM also elected new board members, Dr. Reshma Shrestha, Mr. Yuvraj Bhandari, and Mr. Dipesh Garkhali from the promoter shareholder group, while Mr. Sujan Pradhan, Ms. Sajina Amatya Shrestha is from the public shareholder group. The board meeting has also elected Mr. Yuvraj Bhandari as the company's new chairman, per the media statement.

The finance company currently has 23 branches, and 4 extension counters under its network.
