Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has invited suggestions for the monetary policy for the fiscal year 2024/25. As part of its preparations, the central bank is seeking input from the general public and other stakeholders to shape the upcoming policy.

Suggestions can be submitted via email to NRB’s Economic Research Department at 'MonetaryPolicy@nrb.org.np'. Additionally, feedback can be provided by calling 01-4417497 or faxing 01-4433365.

As per the Nepal Rastra Bank Act 2058, the Government of Nepal formulates a monetary policy each year to align with the budget targets. NRB's call for suggestions aims to ensure that the policy reflects a broad range of perspectives and needs.

The central bank encourages all interested parties to participate in this important process, contributing to the development of a comprehensive and effective monetary policy for the coming fiscal year.
