Himal Dolakha Hydropower Company Closing Auction of 15,77,211 Unclaimed Right Shares from Today

Himal Dolakha Hydropower Company Limited (HDHPC) is closing the auction of its 15,77,211 unit ordinary shares to the general public from today i.e. on the 29th of Shrawan, 2080. The auction opened on the 22nd of Shrawan.

15,77,211 units of ordinary right shares are being auctioned. This is the unclaimed portion of the rights offering. The company opened a 1: 0.75 ratio right share issue to its shareholders from 22nd Jestha to 25th Ashad, 2080. The same unsold right shares are now being auctioned to the general public. This is 13.14% of the total shares issued to the shareholders of the company. Individuals and institutions are all eligible to bid for the auction.

Laxmi Capital Market is appointed as the auction manager. Rs. 100 is the minimum bid rate for the auction. While the minimum bid quantity is 100 units, there is no upper limit for the shares. Although bidders can bid for the entirety of the issue, they are required to abide by Nepal Rastra Bank's rule to not exceed the specified quantity of shares per entity.

The last traded price of the scrip as of 13th August stands at Rs 140 per share.
