Himalayan Bank Introduces Chip and Pin Based Mastercard Debit Card; Get ready to receive upto 20% discount and attractive cash backs during your card transactions

Himalayan Bank Limited, Nepal’s leading commercial bank, in partnership with Mastercard, has announced the launch of chip and pin based Mastercard Debit Card for its customers. The Himalayan Bank Mastercard Debit Card (Domestic) offers cardholders discounts of up to 20% on purchases at select merchants (hotels, restaurants, pubs, clothing stores, etc.) As a part of the launch offer, the bank is issuing Mastercard branded debit cards without any charges to new account holding customers and offering attractive cash backs on POS transactions within Nepal*.

Mr. Ashoke SJB Rana, Chief Executive Officer of Himalayan Bank and Mr.Porush Singh, Division President, South Asia, Mastercard formally launched the debit card at a press meet organized at the corporate office of the Bank.
