Himalayan Everest Insurance Proposes 15% Dividend for FY 2079/80; How Much in Bonus Shares and Cash?

Himalayan Everest Insurance Limited (HEI) has proposed a 15% dividend for the fiscal year 2079/80.
The 317th board of directors meeting held on Poush 25 decided to distribute the dividend on the paid-up capital of Rs. 2.30 Arba. 8.63% bonus shares worth Rs. 19.86 crore and 6.37% cash dividend (including tax) worth Rs. 14.66 crore have been proposed.
The dividend will be distributed only after approval by the Nepal Insurance Authority and endorsement by the company's upcoming AGM. HEI closed at Rs. 651.00 yesterday.
