Himalayan Laghubitta Holds 13th Annual General Meeting, Approves Financial Statements and Future Expansion Plans

The 13th Annual General Meeting of Himalayan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited, a subsidiary of Himalayan Bank Limited, was held on 27th Mangsir 2081 in Kathmandu. Chaired by Mr. Bijaya Man Nakarmi, the meeting approved the financial statements for the fiscal year 2080/81 and discussed the proposal to merge or acquire other microfinance institutions.

Mr. Krishna Prasad Adhikari and Mr. Shiva Prasad Chaulagain were elected unopposed as directors for the next 4 years. CEO Mr. Binod Acharya welcomed attendees, and Chairman Mr. Nakarmi thanked shareholders and dignitaries. The institution, serving 76,000 members through 75 branches, has invested over 4.5 billion.
