Himalayan Reinsurance Limited (HRL) has experienced an extraordinary surge in its share prices within just 2 minutes of the market opening on its first trading day.

Himalayan Reinsurance's Initial Public Offering (IPO), initially priced at a premium of Rs 206 per share, skyrocketed to an impressive Rs. 340.10 on the first day, marking an astonishing increase of 9.99%.

The IPO, which issued a total of 2,49,00,000 unit shares to the general public, was listed with a total of 10,00,00,000 shares. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) had set an opening range of Rs. 103.07 to Rs. 309.21 for Himalayan Reinsurance's first day of trading. However, the trading commenced at Rs. 309.20 today.

As of now, a total of 566 trades have been executed, with the total traded quantity reaching 11,066.
