Historic High: Nepal Gold Prices Surge Rs. 2,600 In Single Day
The gold market in Nepal experienced an unprecedented surge, hitting a record high on March 21, 2024.
The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Traders' Association reported a remarkable single-day increase of Rs. 2,600, driving the price of fine gold to an exceptional rate of Rs. 1,27,800 per tola.
Earlier, on March 10, 2024, pure gold had reached an unparalleled peak at Rs. 1,26,000 per tola, marking a historic milestone.
Tejabi gold, another highly sought-after variant, also saw a significant increase, now valued at Rs. 1,27,200 per tola, up from its previous rate of Rs. 1,24,600.
In a similar trend, the price of silver has risen today as well. With an increase of 35 rupees, the current silver price is at 1,555 rupees per tola. By comparison, Wednesday saw a silver price of Rs. 1,520 per tola.
While the domestic market is witnessing a rise in prices, the international market also plays a significant role. As of the latest update, the current gold rate stands at $2,201.90 per ounce. Internationally, silver is also experiencing positive momentum, with prices reaching $25.58 per ounce.
