Hotel Sarathi to Issue IPO Worth Rs 15 Crore, Signs Agreement with Citizens Capital

Hotel Sarathi Pvt. Ltd. has signed an agreement with Citizens Capital Limited to appoint the latter as the issue and sales manager for its upcoming Initial Public Offering (IPO). The official signing ceremony was held at Hotel Sarathi, Dhulikhel, where the hotel’s Executive Chairman, Mr. Pralhad Pyakurel, and the CEO of Citizens Capital, Mr. Sabir Bade Shrestha, signed the agreement.
According to the agreement, Hotel Sarathi will issue 15 lakh ordinary shares, representing 30% of its issued capital, worth Rs 15 crore. After the IPO issuance, the company’s paid-up capital will reach Rs 50 crore. This IPO will pave the way for Hotel Sarathi to be listed on Nepal’s capital market within the fiscal year 2082/83, offering a new investment opportunity in the hotel and tourism sector for potential investors.
Established in 2072, Hotel Sarathi is a renowned luxury hotel situated in the popular tourist destination of Dhulikhel. Operating since Chaitra 2076, the hotel offers 80 rooms in categories like Presidential Suite, Suite, Premium, and Deluxe. It also features four conference halls with capacities ranging from 20 to 400 people. A standout attraction is its rooftop infinity swimming pool with a pool bar on the seventh floor, offering spectacular views of the Langtang and Gaurishankar mountain ranges.
Hotel Sarathi has quickly gained popularity among both domestic and international tourists for holidays, corporate events, MICE tourism, and destination weddings. By prioritizing locally sourced ingredients, the hotel curates customized menus, contributing to local employment, skill development, and capacity building.
Under the Sarathi Group, the hotel also runs ventures such as a mart, a multipurpose cooperative, a welfare foundation, a school, a training center, Sarathi Ventures, and Sarathi Holidays. Spread across 19 ropanis, the hotel has its organic farm and is developing facilities like rope cycling, a sports center, picnic spots, and a helipad. With plans to expand its brand to other major tourist destinations, the group has already launched its second property in Sauraha, Chitwan.
