House of Representatives to Deliberate on Ministry-Wise Budget Allocations Today
The House of Representatives (HoR) is scheduled to hold a meeting today at 11:00 AM in the Federal Parliament building, New Baneshwor, to deliberate on ministry-wise budget allocations.
The agenda for today's session includes ongoing discussions on various aspects of the Appropriation Bill, 2081 BS. The focus will be on the budgets for the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, the National Planning Commission, the Office of the Vice President, and the Office of the President.
Several Members of Parliament (MPs), including Amresh Kumar Singh, Prem Suwal, Roshan Karki, Rajendra Lingden, Gyan Bahadur Shahi, Dhruba Bahadur Pradhan, and Bina Lama, are set to propose reductions in the expenditures of various ministries under the Appropriation Bill, 2081 BS.
