How Much Did Nepalese Employed Abroad Applied In IPO Issue of Four Hydropower Companies So Far?

CDS & Clearing Limited (CDSC) has reported the data of public IPO collection of Asian Hydropower Limited, Maya Khola Hydropower Company Limited, Super Madi Hydropower Limited, and Supermai Hydropower Limited for Nepalese citizens working abroad as of 10 am today i.e Poush 04.

Asian Hydropower Limited has been issuing its IPO to the project-affected locals of Ilam District and Nepalese citizens working abroad from 27th Mangsir and will close on 12th Poush, 2079. The issued capital of the company is Rs. 34 Crores of which 10% i.e. 3,40,000 unit shares worth Rs. 3.4 crores have been allocated to project-affected locals of the Ilam District. Meanwhile, 24.71% of the company's issued capital i.e. 8,40,000 unit shares will be issued later for the general public. Of this public issue, 10% of the shares totaling 84,000 units shares have been allocated for Nepalese citizens working abroad. The minimum application quantity to be applied is 10 units while the maximum quantity is 20,000 units. NMB Capital Limited has been appointed as the issue manager.

According to CDSC, 5647 applications have been received through Nepalese citizens working abroad for a total of 365,800 units. Thus, the issue is already oversubscribed by 4.35 times so far.

Similarly, Maya Khola Hydropower Company Limited has been issuing its IPO to the project-affected locals of Sankhuwasabha District and Nepalese citizens working abroad from 23rd Mangsir and will close on 8th Poush, 2079. The issued capital of the company is Rs. 1 Arba of which 10% i.e. 10,00,000 unit shares worth Rs. 10 crores have been allocated to project-affected locals of Sankhuwasabha District. Meanwhile, 24% of the company's issued capital i.e. 24,00,000 unit shares will be issued later for the general public. Of this public issue, 10% of the shares totaling 2,40,000 units shares have been allocated for Nepalese citizens working abroad. Prabhu Capital Limited is appointed as the issue manager. For Nepalese citizens working abroad, the minimum application quantity is 10 units while the maximum quantity is 50,000 units.

According to CDSC, 6328 applications have been received through Nepalese citizens working abroad for a total of 588,430 units. Thus, the issue is already oversubscribed by 2.45 times so far.

Likewise, Super Madi Hydropower Limited has been issuing its IPO to the project-affected locals of Kaski District, Pokhara Metropolitan, and Nepalese citizens working abroad from 20th Mangsir, and will close on 5th Poush, 2079. The issued capital of the company is Rs. 2.10 Arba of which 5% i.e. 10,50,000 unit shares worth Rs. 10.5 crores have been allocated to project-affected locals of Kaski District (Madi VDC) and Pokhara Metropolitan citizens. Meanwhile, 10% of the company's issued capital i.e. 21,00,000 unit shares will be issued later for the general public. Of this public issue, 10% of the shares totaling 2,10,000 units shares have been allocated for Nepalese citizens working abroad. The minimum application quantity to apply is 10 units while the maximum quantity is 50,000 units. Sanima Capital Limited is appointed as the issue manager.

According to CDSC, 7049 applications have been received through Nepalese citizens working abroad for a total of 721,180 units. Thus, the issue is already oversubscribed by 3.43 times so far.

Furthermore, Supermai Hydropower Limited has been issuing its IPO to the project-affected locals of Ilam District and Nepalese citizens working abroad 21st Mangsir, and will close on 6th Poush, 2079. The issued capital of the company is Rs. 50 Crores of which 10% i.e. 5,00,000 unit shares worth Rs. 5 crores have been allocated to project-affected locals of Illam District. Also, 10% of the company's issued capital i.e. 5,00,000 unit shares will be issued later for the general public. Of this public issue, 10% of the shares totaling 50,000 units shares have been allocated for Nepalese citizens working abroad. The promoter-public ratio after this IPO will be 80: 20. The minimum application quantity to be applied is 10 units while the maximum quantity is 20,000 units. Sanima Capital Limited is appointed as the issue manager.

According to CDSC, 6744 applications have been received through Nepalese citizens working abroad for a total of 474,500 units. Thus, the issue is already oversubscribed by 9.49 times so far.
