IGI Prudential Insurance Organizes AML/CFT Compliance Training and Seminar

IGI Prudential Insurance Limited organized a comprehensive AML/CFT (Anti-Money Laundering/Combating the Financing of Terrorism) training and seminar on 25th February 2025 at Balthali Village Resort, Kavrepalanchok. The event was attended by the company’s top management, provincial heads from all seven provinces, departmental heads, and branch managers from the Kathmandu Valley under the Bagmati Province.

During the seminar, Mr. Prakash Koirala, Head of the Compliance Department, provided detailed insights into compliance and AML/CFT regulations to the attendees, including top management, departmental heads, provincial heads, and branch managers. The company’s CEO, Mr. Yugeshbhakta Badae Shrestha, emphasized the importance of strict adherence to the regulations and guidelines set by regulatory bodies, as well as the laws and circulars issued by the company’s higher management. He directed that every branch, provincial, and departmental head must ensure compliance in their daily operations to provide excellent services to customers. Furthermore, Mr. Shrestha instructed that all employees must adhere to customer identification protocols, legal requirements, and official directives in their routine work.
