IME General Insurance concludes SGM endorsing merger with Prudential Insurance; new entity to be known as IGI Prudential Insurance Company

IME General Insurance concluded its SGM under the leadership of its chairman Mr. Hem Raj Dhakal on Chaitra 22, 2079 unanimously endorsing the merger agreement with Prudential Insurance.
The SGM has also endorsed the decision to rename the company as IGI Prudential Insurance Company which will be formed after a share swap ratio of 100% following which the paid-up value will rise to Rs 3.02 Arba, as per the media statement.
