IME Life Insurance Amended Dividend to 26.3158% for Fiscal Year 2079/80; How Much in Bonus Shares and Cash Now?

IME Life Insurance Company Limited (ILI) has amended the dividend percentage from the previous 34.5% to 26.3158% dividend for the fiscal year 2079/80.

Earlier, 25% bonus shares worth Rs. 1 Arba and 9.5% cash dividend (including for tax purposes) worth Rs. 38 Crores were proposed from the paid-up capital of Rs. 13.20 Crores.

The dividend was subjected to be distributed only after approval from the Nepal Insurance Authority and endorsement by the company's upcoming AGM. As per the Nepal Insurance Authority’s recommendations, the company has amended the dividend to 26.3158% worth Rs. 1.05 Arba.

The Board of Directors, in their 193rd meeting held on Baishakh 21, 2081, revised the dividend for the fiscal year 2079/80 to 26.3158%, which includes 25% bonus shares and a 1.3158% cash dividend. Specifically, the 25% bonus shares are valued at Rs. 1 Arba, and the 1.3158% cash dividend (tax purposes) is proposed at Rs. 5.26 crore.
