IME Life Insurance Reports 14.12% Profit Surge in Q2, Annualized EPS Reaches Rs. 10.71

IME Life Insurance Company Limited (ILI) has delivered a notable financial performance in the second quarter of the fiscal year 2081/82, reporting a 14.12% increase in net profit. The company’s net profit rose to Rs. 26.78 crores, compared to Rs. 23.47 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
The company maintains a solid financial foundation, with a paid-up capital of Rs. 5 Arba and a share premium of Rs. 52.38 crores. Additionally, its reserves include Rs. 1.38 Arba in retained earnings, Rs. 48.77 crores in other equity, and Rs. 21.75 crores in catastrophe reserves.
ILI experienced a 17.22% growth in net premiums, reaching Rs. 2.33 Arba, while revenue from investments, loans, and other financial activities stood at Rs. 66.88 crores. However, net claims increased by 20.33% to Rs. 2.25 Arba, and commission expenses rose by 7.74% to Rs. 22.02 crores.
