India’s Fastway Digitek enters into strategic alliance with Nepal’s Mero TV; plans to locally produce shows in Nepal

Fastway Radiant Digitek India and Mero TV have agreed for strategic alliance for which Fastway Digitek’s co-promoter Mr. Balbir Singh Sisodia and CEO Mr. Sanjay Gosain were in Kathmandu to finalize the alliance. The press meet for the same was held at Hotel Radisson on September 27, 2019.

Speaking on the occasion, Divine Stream Network’s MD Mr. Prakash Ghimire mentioned how the alliance would help in shaping the landscape of digital cable TV system in Nepal. He added that the alliance will act as a stimulant in terms of digitization, content, bandwidth acquisition and technology update.

Further, Digitek’s CEO mentioned how the alliance will be beneficial for both the parties equally. He added that it will open new horizons for the digital cable TV market in Nepal.

The alliance will locally produce shows in Nepal by nurturing talent available here. This will not only create jobs in the entertainment industry within Nepal but would also lower the dependence of Nepalese Cable TV industry on foreign channels to a great extent.
